Tether bonus balance and cash balance: keeping the two apart
A bonus and the cash it sits beside can look like one number. The difference between them is a rule, and the rule is in the terms.
Two balances, one coin
Many cashiers keep a cash balance and a bonus balance in the same account and show them side by side or added together. Bets draw on one before the other in an order set by the operator. Winnings may carry a restriction the cash did not.
The coin is the same either way. What differs is what each part is allowed to do: be withdrawn, be wagered, expire.
What the dollar link helps with
A balance in Tether is easy to read, since one unit is close to a dollar. That helps you notice how much of a bonus you have used up. It does not tell you how much of it you can withdraw, which is a question for the terms.
Before accepting an offer
Read what the wagering multiple applies to, the maximum stake while the bonus is live, the time limit and the game weighting. Take a screenshot of the terms as shown when you accept; terms can be changed later and the screenshot is the record of what you agreed to.
We print no offer amounts on this site, because none was stated in a form we could quote.
Short answers
Can bonus and cash balances be mixed up in a Tether account?
They can look like one number. Check which of the two a bet draws on before staking.
Does a dollar-linked coin make a bonus easier to judge?
It makes the number easier to read. The terms still decide what the number is worth.
